Chatter Choo

Posted by WonderWoman in : Kids stuff , trackback
WonderBoy, 6, and WonderGirl, 3, are driving me crazy - talking at me at once. Do all kids do this or is it just my chatterboxes.

All kids do this. I get it every day when I go to work.

Ditto, Mine as well. I find it most interesting when I find time to be with Mrs. Ark the kids think this is the time to talk AT us and OVER each other despite being told that this is not the time for it and to “figure it out themselves”………..Hmmmmm, yer just gotta love ‘em or go MAD!!!!!

And by the way could you do a post on how you have been able to format your Nook? please (begging)…….I’ve often admired it and want to change mine to something interesting…..I’m sure it wont deplete any of your “Wonder Woman” powers!

yep all kids do it and don’t think they’ll grow out of it ‘cos they don’t.

Dear theark1

I formatted my nook a long, long time ago - back when nook was an embryo; when the moon and stars background you see above was one of the choices. No wonder powers required! I agree that it is sad that it’s no longer available. Perhaps consider writing to admin about it - at least one other person has already.

Most ’specially when there is anyone else there or you are on the ‘phone - then they suddenly can no longer function independently and need your undivided attention immediately. They also have some sixth sense about it being a “work” phone call and triple the volume. I am sure the background noise is improving my professional status no end!!
Someone I worked with said the talking to you while on the phone thing is something they NEVER grow out of!!

Thanks Wonder Woman, I will jot off a note to admin, I’m not sure that they will listen though as Nooksters have been asking for changes like this regularly but to no avail, Oh well just a few electrons I guess.

WonderWoman, my DS1 (darling son 1) was a chatterbox until just recently ~ he’s now 12.5

We used to struggle to contain our giggles when he commenced his “and this one time, at band camp” stories.

I imagine I’ll have the same to look forward to with DS2 when he is old enough to talk !
