Which school? Enculturate me!
Posted by WonderWoman in : My life , trackbackEver been asked - in a job interview in particular - “which school did you go to?”? I am not a native of Melbourne, or Victoria for that matter, and so am negotiating my way through the Melbourne middle-class ideas on schools.
WonderBoy and WonderGirl have to be educated somewhere!
I am wondering: are employers here at all interested in what school you went to?
(I went to a shocker, in Qld, but it didn’t stop me doing what I aimed to do post-school).
Are the private school networks invaluable? Of any value?
Pls enculturate me!
