Don’t forget to go to The Shop

Joe has an amazing talent; he never forgets your name. Hence when I sit down at his cafe, which he runs with Richard (who is a wedding planner on the side), he asks: “How’s your mum, Lorraine?” If she was local, I’d understand. However, she lives in Queensland and visits twice a year at most.
He knows the names of the dozens of mums, dads and kids from the local primary school who visit The Shop. Really must ask Joe how they came up with the name…
The baby-chinos are free, as is the warm welcome. Seating is outside or in. Both spaces are pretty small but that does not stop the hoardes coming. This is a tribute to the friendly, fast service on offer.
Squish-in, you’ll be taken into the fold like the rest of us!

Of course, dressed like that, you’d hope he’d remember your name. Otherwise you might do a little twirl!
I was nine when that pic was taken. You should see what I wear now.
