Meet the Real WonderWoman
Posted by WonderWoman in : My life , trackbackThe real nook WonderWoman has been revealed. Check out my new avatar.
This is truly me - aged 9 or so… with a bit of photoshopping from a friend to create a beautiful background (as opposed to the trees and people at my school fete in the original pic). I remember being a bit annoyed with my mother for not being able to provide GOLD (rather than yellow) Contact to make the eagle and belt and wrist bands.
Here is the evidence that I have ALWAYS wanted to be WonderWoman. Unfortunately, it took me until age 30 to work out that being WonderWoman is impossible.
And, importantly, I couldn’t fit into the costume anymore.
I love that I can still be WonderWoman here!

Being WonderWoman may have be a dream, but at least you have kept the dream alive. Many people have forgotten their journey through life and left their childhood behind, personally I like to rediscover many things through my children and they have often resparked my interest in many things.
You know you mother was a wonderwoman to make this outfit for you…
And broadbeans are delicious - they are beautiful on the inside - but best if you have home grown ones. I once abhorred them as a child but I doutb they were fresh. I remember them as grey and mealy. But now I’m older and wiser I have been converted to their wonders.
Lets face it, all women who have kids and hold down a job are “Wonderwomen” . Broadbeans are delish, my favourite!
Dear meinrosebud - thanks for your encouragement; you are sweet.
Magpie: lol. Clever birdie.
